Solution Each cabin of EMU800 Smiling Train is installed with a TES-250-M12 light-managed Ethernet switch which comes with 5 Fast Ethernet ports. One of them is connected to an industrial computer that operates as the media for network data transmission, controlling the digital entertainment system, LED display, VoIP phone, etc.

The EN50155-compliant Ethernet switch provides M12 connectors that are highly resistant to shock, vibration, and temperature to guarantee reliable connections when the train is moving at a high speed. Featuring ORing's proprietary O-Ring redundancy technology, the switch allows for fast recovery of less than 10ms for 250 machines when the Internet shuts off.
