As applications such as smart surveillance, intelligent transportation, and industrial automation continue to grow, the demand for high-power PoE and highly reliable networks is increasing. ORing Industrial Networking has introduced a new industrial managed Ethernet switch designed to meet these needs, featuring high-power PoE++ output, wide operating temperature support, and comprehensive management functions. It is purpose-built for power-hungry powered devices and helps improve network stability and deployment flexibility in industrial environments.
The IGPS-9084GP-BT is a 12-port switch with eight Gigabit RJ45 Ethernet ports that fully support IEEE 802.3af, 802.3at, and 802.3bt PoE++ standards. Each PoE port can deliver up to 90 watts of power, with a total PoE budget of up to 240 watts. This allows the switch to reliably power high-consumption devices such as PoE speed dome cameras, advanced surveillance systems, and multi-function sensor units. The switch also includes four Gigabit SFP slots, enabling flexible fiber uplink configurations for building long-distance, high-bandwidth industrial network backbones.
For industrial deployments, the IGPS-9084GP-BT is designed to operate in temperatures ranging from minus 40 to 75℃ and is housed in a rugged IP-30 rated metal enclosure. It supports both DIN-rail and wall-mount installation and can operate reliably in harsh environments with extreme temperatures, dust, and vibration. The switch integrates ORing’s proprietary O-Ring redundancy technology, enabling network recovery within 30 milliseconds, and also supports standard protocols such as MSTP and MRP to ensure continuous operation of mission-critical networks.
To enhance network management and cybersecurity, the IGPS-9084GP-BT supports SNMP v1, v2c, and v3, RMON, and 802.1Q VLAN for monitoring and configuration. It includes security and control features such as ACL, TACACS+, 802.1X authentication, automatic protection against DoS and DDoS attacks, bandwidth control, and application-level QoS to ensure that critical data traffic is prioritized. Additional functions such as PoE scheduling, powered device status monitoring, and automatic device reboot help simplify daily maintenance. The switch also supports IEEE 1588v2 time synchronization, IPv6, Modbus TCP, and secure management protocols including HTTPS and SSH, providing a complete solution for intelligent and secure industrial network management.
Bruce Chen, Manager of the ISW Business Unit at ORing Industrial Networking, said, “The IGPS-9084GP-BT is designed specifically for high-power PoE and high-reliability industrial applications, helping customers deploy power-hungry devices with confidence even in harsh environments.” He added, “ORing will continue to invest in high-performance industrial networking technologies to support digital transformation and smart infrastructure across different industries.”
