Orthogonal frequency-division multiple access (OFDMA) is a multi-user version of OFDM (Orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing) digital modulation scheme, it’s a new technology introduced into Wi-Fi 6.
OFDMA improves wireless network performance by establishing independently modulating subcarriers within frequencies. OFDMA makes it possible for users to improve spectrum utilization by sharing channel resources. This allows simultaneous low-data-rate transmission from several users.
